Ensemble Christmas Concert

On the evening of 5th December, the Love Music Trust Christmas Concert took place at St Mary’s Church, Sandbach. It was a wonderful evening, full of fantastic performances and festive cheer.

The show kicked off with the Saxophone Ensemble who played a selection of pieces and also added some festive fun to there Saxophones with flashing lights.

Guitar Ensemble performed next with a delightful programme of classical guitar pieces, including ‘We Three Kings’ and the festive ‘Jingle Bells’. 

The World Percussion Ensemble woke everyone up after the interval with there piece called ** which was played on Taiko Drums and Glocks. 

The Junior Big Band where up next and played 'Fiesta Latina' and 'Oye Como Va' many in the band had festive hats and jumpers on display for the evening's festivities. 

The Senior Big Band finished the evening with a varied programme and the Christmasy piece 'Troika'  Well Done to all the groups , you sounded lovely in the great acoustic of St Mary’s Church!
