Love Music Trust are delighted to be able to offer a series of Orchestral Percussion Master Classes, run by Mark Concar.

For over 18 years now Mark has regularly worked with orchestras such as the BBC Philharmonic, Opera North and The Hallé and works as a freelance orchestral percussionist and timpanist. We are fortunate that Mark also runs both of the Junior and Senior LMT Percussion Ensembles.

These master classes are aimed at any percussionist looking to expand their repertoire and skills. They come at a time when most percussionists are only focusing on solo repertoire as most ensemble playing is limited due to the current situation. It is hoped that these sessions will go somewhere close to helping to fill that void and equip players with the skills that are so often neglected.

Sessions take place at Sandbach School on Saturday's from 2pm - 3:30pm throughout the first half of the spring term.

The cost for all 6 sessions is only £30

Equipment required for the sessions: 1x Triangle & Beater, 1x Headed Tambourine, 1x Practice Pad and 1x Pair of Snare Drum Sticks. Packs are available for hire at £10, please select this option if required on the sign up form.
