We are delighted to announce the Love Music Trust Choral Day on Thursday 12th November at St John's Church, Hartford between 10am - 4pm. We are very excited that this event will be led by Stuart Overington, an accomplished choral specialist and Director of the Halle Youth Choir.
Stuart is an accomplished conductor and vocal animateur working across the UK, and specifically for the RNCM, the Halle, Cheethams' School of Music and the National Children's Choir of Great Britain, and is known for his engaging, informative and inclusive style of working with a wide range of ensembles.
The course is open to choral singers from Year 7 - 13, who have a passion for singing and wish to extend their skills over this busy and challenging day of workshops and introductions to new and exciting choral repertoire.
In the evening, the choirs of participating schools will be invited to come and perform a set for our audience, in addition to performances from the days workshop. The concert will start at 6pm.
Choirs will join us from 4.00pm for sound checks.
The closing date to sign up for this inspiring event is 22nd October. In event of oversubscription places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
