Welcome to ‘Pop Parade’, Love Music Trust’s brand new Singing Resources Booklet for Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. Our exciting brand new songs are composed with the style of girl and boy bands in mind! The songs are full of fun, memorable melodies, exciting lyrics with opportunities for simple part singing. In addition to the newly composed songs, the booklet contains cross-curricular activities linked to the theme of inclusion.
Singing is key to developing musicianship as required by the National Plan for Music Education which states that ‘children should have access to singing lessons, be encouraged to join schools choirs and vocal groups, and have opportunities to perform individually or in small groups’.
With the help of our singing booklet, the DfE and OFSTED goals of every school running a choir and ensemble can be easily achieved!
