Come and Play with the Hallé 2018 - 'Strictly Hallé!'

The Love Music Trust is delighted to once again be working in partnership with Hallé Education to give the young musicians of Cheshire East the opportunity to 'Come and Play with the Hallé'!
This year's concert, entitled 'Strictly Hallé', features a wide range of dance music from the classical and modern orchestral repertoire. The programme for our concert at 1:30pm on Tuesday 19th June will be:
- Prelude to 'Swan Lake' (Tchaikovsky)
- Waltz of the Flowers from 'The Nutcracker' (Tchaikovsky)*
- Hoedown from 'Rodeo' (Copland)*
- Song: Ai Caramba Samba (Mark & Helen Johnson)
- Danse Macabre (Saint-Saens)
- Song: Charleston Champions (Pickett/Bennison)
- Slavonic Dance No. 2 or Slavonic Dance No. 8 (Dvořák)
- Mambo No. 5 (Prado arr. Pickett)
- British Folk Dance set (Pickett)
- Danza No. 2 (Marquez)
