The showcase also provided an opportunity to our Cheshire East popular music students as to a possible future pathway of study at the Royal Northern College of Music on their 'Popular Music degree Course'. As the judges came back onto stage, it was Sound of Phoenix who were announced as the inaugural Cheshire East Battle of the Bands winners, the result being met with a great response from the warm and enthusiastic audience.
