As schools are now shut we have put together a series of online learning opportunities for the students to keep them engaged in their music learning:
- Each week, all pupils at home will have access to a 30-minute music lesson, and a c.5-minute daily singing activity (5 per week). These are prerecorded by one of our team of tutors and distributed to school on a weekly basis.
- Additionally, for pupils in school, 30-minute weekly 'live' lessons (again, one for EYFS/KS1 and one for KS2) will be offered to each subscribing school.
- The lessons will be general music curriculum lessons, focused on a broad age range (one for EYFS/KS1 and one for KS2). 'Live' lessons would be enhanced by the use of any percussion equipment in school, but it is not essential. Tutors will work closely with your staff to find a best fit for each individual school.
- Remember, for the duration of the school closure you will have resources and music lessons available for all your pupils, not just who would ordinarily receive tuition from LMT.
This resource programme has been offered to all schools currently receiving weekly tuition from LMT, but any school is welcome to subscribe. The weekly cost of the package is £46.00.
